The last couple of weeks have been a bit of a whirlwind, so it's time to let you all know what's happening here! Firstly, thanks for all your support over the course of the moving sale; we cleared out just about everything we needed to shift, which made packing up a lot easier, and it was great to catch up with so many of you who came down in person to pick up some bargains and wish us well.

For those who missed the earlier post, August 31st marked a break in our lease at the Custard Factory, and I decided it was the right time to progress into the next phase of the PROVIDE adventure. Plan A was to close our first shop and open a brand new location immediately afterwards, but as we all know life rarely goes according to plan. I've spent the last 4 months viewing properties, speaking to landlords and estate agents, trying to find out who owns desolate units, attempting to talk people out of shops they're not using, and walking the same streets over and over, but have not yet found the right home for PROVIDE. There have been four very near-misses, but as yet no dice. The commercial property game is no joke!

So, that leaves us homeless for the time being, which is no bad thing. It will allow for time to step back and look over how far we've come, and give some proper consideration to where we might take things over the next few years. We will continue to release new products online regularly and will look to get involved with events and other things that before now would not have been logistically possible whilst also holding it down in the shop.

For starters, keep an eye on Twitter and Instagram over the next couple of weeks (or just sign up to our mailing list) for a brand new product collaboration with a very close friend, and an event in conjunction with one of Birmingham's biggest and funnest parties. Can't say too much at the moment but the future is looking good!

Last but not least, today marks exactly 3 years since our first shop opened. Happy Birthday PROVIDE!
