You may have already heard that we're proudly celebrating 5 years in business this month. To mark the occasion, this weekend we are hosting an exhibition and pop up shop in the gallery space at Rope Press, our friendly neighbourhood print shop. We're launching the event with a party on Friday night (15 September, 6-10pm), with help from Futurepast Zine, who have DJ'd for us on a number of occasions and always bring an incredible, diverse selection of records.
We'll be releasing 2 new T-shirts and a zine at the event, all commemorating this milestone. Each T-shirt is a graphical nod to our previous shop locations - the Throwie tee features a Provide throw-up by an old writer friend in homage to our time in Digbeth - a part of town known for its graffiti and street art. The Great Western tee uses typography from a 1903 Great Western Railway poster to celebrate our time in the Grade II listed Great Western Arcade.
Both tees have been printed in very small quantities, and will first be available over the weekend at the party and exhibition. Any remaining stock will then go online next week. If you're unable to make the event, you can register your interest by selecting which size Throwie or Great Western tee you'd like and entering your email address to be notified when there is online availability. The zine will be for sale at a discounted price at this weekend's event, but it is also available online now for those of you who aren't local to us.
